Please join the APTS staff in congratulating Carolyn Collier, PTA for accomplishing her first of three Active Release Techniques® certifications.

After months of studying, Carolyn traveled to Jersey City, New Jersey this past weekend where she spent four days learning and practicing over one hundred ART® protocols for the Upper Extremities. At the end of the four days the physical therapist is required to pass a hands-on examination in order to receive the certification.

Active Release Technique (ART®) is a breakthrough, soft tissue assessment/treatment system, which allows the physical therapist to treat problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves in a concise efficient manner.
