On November 3, 2012 Dr. Buchberger had the pleasure of co-teaching a Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SASTM) course with Graston instrument and SASTM developer David Graston. The course was initiated by Adirondack Medical Center (AMC) Director of Physical Therapy Rick Preston, PT, DPT. The course was a one day hands-on course teaching the physical and occupational therapist of the AMC system how to use instrument assisted soft tissue techniques to treat musculoskeletal disorders.
