Active Physical Therapy Solutions is proud to welcome Tom Zirilli, PT as a new addition to the staff. Tom joins our practice after gaining experience in outpatient orthopedic care at St. Josephs Hospital in Syracuse and Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics in Skaneateles. Tom brings a determined work ethic and motivation to provide high level, quality care to the citizens of Auburn and surrounding communities.

Although Tom is new to the practice, he and Dr. Buchberger are no strangers as they graduated from the physical therapy program at SUNY Upstate Medical University together. Tom is a full body certified Active Release Techniques Provider (ART®) and has incorporated this into his treatments over the past two and a half years. He is also certified in the Sportsmetrics® ACL prevention program. In addition to these certifications, he has assisted Dr. Buchberger at many of his seminars which include “Evaluation and Management of the Upper Extremities” as well as “Rehabilitation of the Spine and Extremities”.

Tom finds that the day-to-day patient interaction is the best part of his job. He shares the common goal of all the employees at Active Physical Therapy Solutions to provide a high quality of patient care.
